May 12th, 2012 - After seeing the ULTIMATE Super Late Model tour event at Toccoa Speedway (Toccoa, Georgia) nixed by rain on Saturday night, Tony entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia). With sixteen competitors on hand for the event Knowles qualified second to initially earn the outside-front-row starting spot for the feature. However, an invert wheel was spun, which resulted in Knowles starting fourth in the feature. May 4th, 2012 - On Friday night TKR Motorsports made the trip to Tri County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for a Weekly Racing Series Event. Via preliminary action Tony locked into the tenth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature he would advance eight positions on his way to a second placef finish at the checkered flag behind race winner, Johnny Chastain. April 28th, 2012 - Tony Knowles returned to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series Event. With seventeen cars entered Tony started his night blazing to fast time honors to earn the pole position for the feature event. Unfortunately on the parade lap Knowles would encounter mechanical issues as his MSD box went dead. He would go onto battle the ignition issues to a fourth place finish in the event behind race winner, Jody Knowles, Jake Knowles, and Jason Croft. Full results are available at www.DixieSpeedway.com.
April 14th, 2012 - Saturday night was a great outing for the team as they took part in the $2,000-to-win, Spring Championship at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia), and Tony came away with his first win of the 2012 campaign. With a solid field of competitors on hand Knowles began his night by qualifying fourth fastest to lock into the fourth starting spot for the feature event in his #26 Rocket Super Late Model. Early in the feature he would slip to fifth before beginning to work his way forward. Lap 22 would see Tony race past the leader. He would go on to lead the rest of the event as he claimed the win over Tyler Millwood, Luther Jenkins, Michael Page, and Clint Smith. Full results are available at www.DixieSpeedway.com.
April 6th, 2012 - Tony entered a $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned event at Tri County Race Track (Brasstown, North Carolina) on Friday night. A solid field of twenty-three competitors were on hand for the event at the bullring, and in the feature Knowles would race his way from the seventh starting position to a third place finish behind a pair of Georgians in race winner, Shane Clanton, and Brian Reese. March 31st, 2012 - After seeing Friday night's event at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) washed away by rain the team entered a $4,000-to-win, Ultimate Series event at North Georgia Speedway (Chattsworth, Georgia) on Saturday night. Late afternoon rains looked to again nix the program, but officials waited it out, and the event was held on a fast and heavy track. Tony would race his way into the feature via the b-main as he earned the 22nd starting spot. Unable to make up much ground early in the event, he would decide to retire from the race to save his equipment. He was credited with a 21st place finish at the checkered flag. March 17th, 2012 - Tony made the trip to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday for the 17th Annual James King Memorial. A $5,000 winner's check was posted for the event, which was sanctioned by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model tour. Thirty-six entries were on hand for the event, and Tony began the night by qualifying fifth fastest in his group. His qualifying performance left him one spot short of a transfer to the feature, but earned him the pole position for a b-main. In the b-main, he would record a second place finish, which locked him into the 13th starting spot for the main event. In the feature he would advance seven spots to record a sixth place finish behind race winner, Terry English, Scott Dedwylder, Kyle Beard, Brian Rickman, and Eric Cooley. March 9th, 2012 - A busy, early-season weekend was rapidly erased as Boyds Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) and Cleveland Speedway (Cleveland, Tennessee) both saw their weekend's events nixed by rain. As a result, Tony did not race anywhere.
March 4th, 2012 - Tony resumed his 2012 season over the weekend with the 15th Annual Bama Bash at Green Valley Speedway (Glencoe, Alabama). The $15,015-to-win event saw 29 cars register for action, and on Saturday night Knowles would qualify fifth fastest in his group to earn the fifth starting spot for his heat race. Early in the heat Knowles would be collected in a melee, but would only receive body damage. After restarting on the tail of his heat, Tony advanced to a fourth place finish to lock into the 13th starting spot for Sunday's, 75 lap finale. Knowles would run around mid-pack for the first half of the event before ultimately retiring to a 17th place finish. Full results are available at www.GreenValleySpeedway.com.
January 8th, 2012 - TKR Motorsports opened the 2012 campaign with their brand new #26 RSD Enterprises/Rocket/Malcuit Racing Engine Super Late Model at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) over the weekend. A wet weekend and rough track conditions greeted the team for the event. With 66 Super Late Models entered Knowles started the event by setting fast time in his group on Saturday evening before finishing second to Ray Cook in his heat race. Via the heat race finish, Knowles locked into the tenth starting spot for Sunday's $6,000-to-win, 50 lap finale.
Midday rain showers forced Sunday's program to get a late start, and when the green finally dropped on the finale, Tony would quickly see his luck head south as contact from another car sent him head-on into an infield tire in the event's opening laps. The ensuing contact resulted in heavy damage to the nose of his car and Knowles would retire to a 21st place finish. Full weekend results are available at www.TalladegaShortTrack.com.
November 28th, 2011 - Tony is already preparing his brand new #26 Rocket/Malcuit Racing Engine Super Late Model for the 2012 season. The car can be seen in the picture to the right.
